Rajasthan Royals Team 2016 

Rajasthan Royals is the same team which was considered as the weakest team of the first edition of IPL but they emerged as victorious. Rajasthan Royals won the first ever edition of IPL thanks to some brilliant captaincy by legendary Shane Warne.  The team is co-owned by Jaipur IPL Cricket Private Ltd, Manoj Badale, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra.

Although, the team did won the first IPL, but after that it is still trying to search for their lost form. Apart from first IPL, Rajasthan Royals never reached the semifinals of any of the IPL season. However, they were the runner up of Cricket League Twenty 20 2013. The best thing about Rajasthan Royals is that they always try to nurture hidden talent. They always pick uncapped players and they have a tradition of unearthing amazing talent. The team is nicknamed as Moneyball team of IPL due to their emphasis on buying players at cut-throat prices.

The team is captained by Shane Watson who is also the leading run scorer of the team and it is coached by Paddy Upton. Rahul Dravid is playing the role of chief mentor for the team. Rajasthan Royals have two home ground where Sawai Mansigh Stadium is their primary home ground and Sardar Patel Stadium is their secondary home ground.

However, if previous record is to be checked, the team is not been able to pick up their lost pace and consistency. Rising Pune Supergiants IPL 2016 Team Squad: Pune is one of the two new franchises included in the next two IPL seasons replacing Chennai and Rajasthan. Owned by Sanjiv Goenka’s New Rising company, the franchise will be known as Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS).

Pune and Rajkot are the two new franchises brought in for the next two seasons as Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals are suspended for next two IPL editions. Pune was bought by “New Rising” company which is lead by Sanjiv Goenka. The official team name for team Pune will be “Rising Pune Supergiants” with Dhoni confirmed as captain and Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium as the home ground.

Pune Budget for IPL Auction 2016: Just like all other teams Pune and Rajkot can spend between minimum Rs. 40 crores to max Rs. 66 Crores. Since Pune has already spend Rs. 39 crores in IPL draft in december their remaining budget is Rs. 27 crores for the IPL auction. With Rs. 27 crores they need to bring in another 12 to 15 new players during the IPL auction 2016 which will take place on 6th February 2016
